Innjoo Halo X Specs, Review, Price in Kenya
-Advertisement-
Few months after unveiling the Innjoo Max 3, Innjoo Mobile yet
launched another device mid last month, an iteration of their Innjoo Halo series, the Innjoo Halo X. This is Innjoo’s first
device to run on Android 6.0 operating system, even the great Innjoo Max 3 Pro
does not run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
There
are a lot of additional features on the Halo X, for instance, this device has a
1.3GHz Processor, an improvement from its predecessor, the Max 3 Pro which runs on a 1.0GHz chipset. With 2GBs of RAM, a
larger HD display and an attractive metallic pack, the Innjoo Halo X is a force
to reckon with in the lower midrange fragment of the smartphone market.
We expect the device to fare well against competition,
with devices such as Infinix Note 3 X601and some Tecno Mobile devices in the market.

Key features
Camera
The 2MP front and 8MP rear camera on the Innjoo Halo X come with autofocus and
anti-shake features for a seamless photo taking experience. The camera is
nothing out of the ordinary but it isn’t too bad either. Don’t expect to find a
fingerprint scanner beneath the camera lenses because there is none, one of the
major downsides of the device.
Battery
Well, the 3000maH Li-ion Battery is at best
average. It can last you for up to 18 hours of talk time, which is pretty good
since the battery has become one of the biggest let-downs in recent smartphone
technology.
Networks
The phone supports 2G, 3G but not 4G enabled.
This is one of Innjoo’s Halo X downside. The company should have known better,
I mean, lately 4G connectivity has become the talk of the town.
Internal storage
If you were told to narrow down the most
important features of a smartphone, chances are internal storage would be among
the top features of your list. Innjoo has blessed the Halo X with sufficient 16 GB of internal storage, which can be
expanded to 128GB with the use of a micro SD card. With that amount of storage,
you can comfortably install all the apps you want, and the ample 2GB RAM is a
bonus.
Processor
A powerful processor can improve a
smartphone’s functionality and reduce power consumption, which means longer
lasting battery. The Innjoo Halo X
comes with an impressive 1.3GHz quad-core processor which will guarantee fast
responses in addition to the advantages mentioned above.
Operating system
The Halo X comes with Android 6.0 marshmallow.
It is the first Innjoo device to be powered by the OS and in so being; it comes
customised with the company’s UI for easier more efficient usage which includes
some battery saving features.
Availability and Price in Kenya
The 1280x760 5.5 inch HD display device is
available in gold, silver, black and white. Price in Kenya is KES 7799 and you can order it from Jumia.
Conclusion
When compared with other recently unveiled
smartphones in the same category, the Innjoo
Halo X is a good device, considering the budget-friendly price tag. The
only thing it lacks is 4G connectivity, but if you don’t care about that, it’s
an absolutely good budget smartphone for you.
