Samsung to Launch the Samsung Galaxy C9 with 4000mah Battery And 6GB RAM Today
-Advertisement-
The
Samsung Galaxy C9 will be launching
today in china, Samsung confirmed. Its predecessors, the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung
Galaxy C7 also lunched in china a few months ago but were exclusive to the
Chinese market. However, the company is
expected to make the Galaxy C9
available globally in an attempt fix the events that transpired with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. If the company
is going to come back from the Note 7 disaster, they need something to restore
faith to their customers before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 later next year.
Galaxy C9 is Samsung's third
smartphone from its C-series and we hope it will be available outside of China.
The company had kept silent about the release of this smartphone, but clues had
indicated that the launch was on the cards.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Specifications
If
reports on benchmarking sites are anything to go by, Galaxy C9 will include
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, a 4000mAh battery, dual 16MP
cameras, a 6GB RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and a 920x1080 pixels
6-inch Full HD display.
A Pro version
It
is possible that the device will launch with a pro sibling, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. Leaked images
suggest that the Pro version will be a scaled up version of the Galaxy C9.
Other details about the specs of the Samsung galaxy C9 Pro are not available at
the moment.
Galaxy C9 and C9 Pro to arrive in Gold, Rose
Gold and Silver
Rumours
around tech sites suggest that the Samsung Galaxy C9 and C9 Pro will arrive in
Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold during the much anticipated launched later today.
Samsung
Galaxy expected to launch outside china by mid-November
What
the Korean manufacturer initially conceived as China-exclusive smartphones is
likely to be gradually expanding into other markets, with the Samsung Galaxy C9 expected to launch
outside china, possibly in the United States, by mid-November and the gradually
roll out to the rest of the world. Hopefully, Samsung Galaxy C9 will be available in Kenya by December this year.
Samsung galaxy C9 key features
Build
and design
According
to leaked images, the Galaxy C9 and C9
Pro will feature a killer design, the tri-antenna band design. The new design
is an absolute improvement from its predecessors, the Samsung galaxy C5 and C7.
This new design features three thin lines at the bottom and top edges of the
device with the same colour as the rest of the device’s back panel. Samsung is
attempting to merge these two design components through the new system,
something that has for a long time eluded most manufacturers with many attempts
failing to elegantly integrate antenna bands in metal-clad gadgets. This new
antennae design is most likely to attract the most attention.
Performance
The
Samsung Galaxy C9 will feature a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor to supplement the massive 6GB RAM. The C9
will be the first Samsung smartphone to feature a 6GB RAM. With this device,
say bye-bye to slow loading and technical glitches when playing games or
performing any other intensive activity. If any of this is true, the device
will have huge multitasking capability.
Display
and dimensions
The
Samsung Galaxy C9 weighs 185 g. in
dimension, the device measures 162.9x80.7x6.9 mm. the device flaunts a
1,920×1,080 resolution 6-inch Full HD Super ANOLED display. The display is
bigger than its predecessors’, the Samsung
Galaxy C7 which sported a 5.7-inch AMOLED display. This device would be a
great catch for anyone who loves to watch media on their smartphones.
Camera
The
device is expected to arrive with a double 16MP camera both on the front and
back with features such as an LED flash, wide view angle, autofocus,
anti-shake, panorama and HD video recording. The galaxy C7 launched with the
same 16MP camera but only on the rear, it came with an 8MP front shooter.
Battery
The
Galaxy C9 comes with a 4000mAh
Li-ion battery, an improvement on the 3300mAh cell on the Galaxy C7. Users should expect a longer battery life and improved
overall performance. The device also comes with battery features such as fast
charge technology.
If
the aforementioned reports regarding the specs of the Samsung Galaxy C9 are true, the world should be prepared for
massive changes in the phablet market brought about by this power packed
device.
Will the Galaxy C9 offset the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 disaster?
Well,
that is highly unlikely. Damages caused by such mistakes take time to repair
but who knows? Launching one device is not enough to restore brand loyalty. Samsung
is, however, a huge player with a massive following of customers loyal to the
brand and can definitely pull it off if they play it right. Stay tuned for more
updates on the price and
availability of the Samsung Galaxy C9 in
Kenya.
