The Innjoo Max 3 Unveiled; Specifications and Price in Kenya

Innjoo’s latest flagship device, the Innjoo Max 3 was launched last week in Dubai at the Gitex technology week. The device was unveiled in partnership with Taiwan-based chipmaker MediaTek. The Max 3 is the successor to the commercially successful Innjoo Max 2. The Innjoo brand has slowly been making its way into the African and Middle East market thanks to online platforms like Jumia and souq.com in Africa and Middle East respectively. Price in Kenya is KES 10399.

What’s new in the Innjoo Max 3?

v  The device comes with a powerful 4000mAh battery with Innjoo’s rapid charge technology, Innjoo’s version of fast charge tech.

v  For a smooth user navigation through the device, the max 3 comes with enhanced configurations such as a sufficient 2GB RAM.

v  The max 3 comes with enhanced security; the device includes a fingerprint scanner.

v  The device also comes with 2.5 diamond cut glass, a larger HD screen, dual SIM (both SIMs come with 3G/4G capability) and a host of other Innjoo features.

The device comes with a 4000mAh battery, Android Marshmallow, an 8-megapixel shooter on the front paired with a 21-megapixel camera at the back with an f/1.8 aperture, 16 GB internal storage (expandable via micro SD), a USB Type-C port and 2GB RAM.

Physical home button

The Innjoo Max 3 comes with a physical home button breaking the tradition in the long line of Innjoo smartphones before it. Another thing, the brand’s competitor such as Infinix and Tecno have the fingerprint sensors at the back of the device but Innjoo decided to go the IPhone and Samsung way and put the fingerprint scanner on the front side. This is the first time the manufacturer has done that, which could give them an edge over their competitors.

An all-metal body design

Thanks to the 1920x1080 HD display, users will be able to view pictures and videos with ease due to the sharpness and clarity. The Innjoo Max 3 sports a full HD AMOLED screen which is huge if you compare it to the 5.0-inch and 5.5-inch screens on its predecessors, the Innjoo Max 2 and Max 2 Plus correspondingly. Available in white, silver, black and gold.

Built-in LTE

The InnJoo 3 arrives with one of the few MediaTek chipsets with built-in LTE support Thanks to the partnership with Taiwan-based chipmaker. Mediatek’s MT6750T chipset was launched at the beginning of the year. Much of this comes close to matching the spec sheet of one of the foremost brands in the region, Tecno Mobile’s Phantom 6 Plus.

Camera

The Innjoo Max 3 also comes with an 8 MP front facing camera and a 5 element lens system 21-megapixel rear camera. The camera offers anti shake, autofocus and multiple modes among other awesome properties. The camera can also record HD videos.

Software

The device comes with android 6.0 marshmallow with the Innjoo UI on top. The Max 3 sports 16GB internal storage with 2GB RAM. If you want more storage, the internal storage is expandable up to 128GB micro SD card.

The max 3 comes with Mediatek’s MT6750T chipset clocked at 1.2GHz which when coupled with the 2GB RAM, gives a flawless experience.
