Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 to hit the Kenyan market soon
-Advertisement-
The Lenovo team has been showcasing the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 in major shopping
malls in Nairobi for the past few weeks. The device is Lenovo’s latest
creation, and the company was demonstrating the tablets projection
capabilities, yes, the tablet comes with a projector. The company takes pride
in creating the world smallest cinema in the form of the tablet. Patrons and
onlookers were able to watch movies through projections done by the device
during these activations. According to the company, the device gives you an
excellent experience while watching media from the tab with the ability to turn
any room in your house into a theatre.
Build and design
The Lenovo
Yoga Tab 3 pro scores top marks when it comes to build quality. It is a
judicious sprinkling of plastic, glass, leather and metal to give a premium
feeling, unlike the all-aluminium finish on the iPad. The back, in particular,
is soft and really nice to hold due to the nice leather finish. The tablet has
a super bright lumen output that can project an image of up to 70 inches on any
white surface as well as a rotatable hinge for easy image adjustment. The
projector is mounted within a cylindrical structure on the edge of the device
that allows an easy rotation.
Unique features
The
tablet is the only one in the market with this unique feature. In addition to the projection function, the
device has a host of other unique features uncommon on tablets such as its
camera’s capability to rotate 180 degrees. The 10-inch Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 pro is
expected to take the Kenyan market by storm with its incredible features. The
device’s ultra-powerful speakers complement the QHD display in providing an
enhanced experience while watching movies or gaming in adverse lighting
conditions and all viewing angles.
Software and performance
The Lenovo
Yoga Tab 3 runs on stock Android version 5.1 and the Lenovo Vibe UI on top
for a better experience. The device comes with a 2GB RAM in addition to 32GB of
internal memory expandable to 128 GB. The tablet runs on an Intel Atom X5
2.2GHz quad-core processor. You can conveniently enable the projector with the
projector app or via the settings menu which will project whatever is on your
screen. The projector app will, however, show you the most likely candidates
for projection such as videos and movies or pictures. It is powered by a 10200mAh
irremovable cell.
Price and availability
The Lenovo
Yoga Tab 3 Pro really stands out and can give a user new ways to experience
daily life activities. The device is not yet available for sale in Kenya as
mentioned before but we should expect it to launch here in the next 4-6 week.
According to our projections, we expect the device to go for about KSH 65,000
in the country which is not so bad.
Summary
The
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 pro will be a good entrant into
the Kenyan market. It has a set of unique features that we can’t just ignore,
but most of its standard features such as the camera are acceptable at best. We
will keep you updated on news about the Kenyan launch of this product.
