TECNO Mobile launch the Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 plus.

The
Tecno Phantom 6 was globally
launched in Dubai on 25th September 2016, not in Nairobi as rumours had earlier
indicated.
The Chinese company broke its tradition of launching its flagship device on African soil, probably an effort to expand its market to the global level by extending its consumer base to western markets and the Middle East.

Look and feel
Totally
different from what we saw on the Phantom 5, the Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is its incredible design and slim body which
happens to be one its major selling points. The device offers more durability,
with its five-layer full metal body design which makes it stronger and more
resilient.
It has a Corning Gorilla glass v3.0 which adds
the much-needed protection of the screen from cracks and scratches resulting
from the phone dropping on the floor. The device is made up of an aluminium
magnesium alloy frame, a non-detachable battery design, a firm fastener and a
Nano moulding seamless metal unibody from up to bottom.
Enhanced processor and hardware
With
a Decca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, the Phantom 6 plus beats the Tecno Phantom 6 hands down regarding
processor speed. Despite the high performance, the chipset saves up to 30%
battery life according to MediaTek.
High-end camera
The
Tecno phantom 6 comes with the same
camera set up like the iPhone 7 Plus and Huawei P9, awesome, right? The rear
camera was split into two different sensors; one with 5MP and the other with
resolution 13MP to make a total of 18 Megapixels.
