Huawei Technologies recently unveiled the Huawei P9 smartphone. Huawei is a second tier Android smartphone manufacturer; the unveiling was in a bid to compete with big brands like Samsung and Apple.
The main thing noticeable on the P9 is that this is a remarkably well made device that can be placed next to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 6s without being dominated.

Design
Being just 6.95mm thick, the Huawei P9 is a slim phone compared to other latest Android brands. The phone’s 5.2 inches 1080 pixels high definition display runs almost to the edges but leaves a thin bezel to allow the device to rest comfortably in the palm.
Despite having a large screen, this device is still slimmer that the IPhone 6S. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner at the back, located just under the camera casing. It has a metal finish that fits pleasantly to a glass band that contains two camera lenses. With its specifications and capacities, it is an incredibly slim and light device, and it meets the standards of a real premium smartphone.
Camera
The smartphone is a pretty fantastic device to use as a camera due to its double lens Leica camera. Each camera lens has a 12MP designed to capture as much detail as possible even in under poor lighting in addition to the enhanced perception and an extended focal radius. Due to the incorporated hybrid laser-focus assist, changing focus points is swift and precise, and background blur effects are genuinely impressive for a phone.

It is synchronised with the latest power management system designed to minimise background activity when the device is not in use. The operating was, however, one of the not so impressive aspects of the phone for people who prefer stock Android.
Verdict
The Huawei P9 comes with a lot of processing power, storage and looks great. The only notable downside to this device is software related, which is that it can be a little frustrating to use. It is quite cheaper than is competitors, the Samsung Galaxy 7 and IPhone 6S but without quality compromise, making it an excellent smartphone choice.
